All reservations are made for Riverside Shuttle (Riverside) on a secure site subject to the following conditions:
- No bookings exists until full payment is received by credit card or PayPal.
- Riverside reserves the right to decline any booking.
Changes & Cancellations
We like to be as flexible as we can with changes as we understand the underforeseen changes that might crop up. If you need to change your ticket date, please try to contact us 12 hours before travel.
To cancel your booking, notify us in writing immediately. Refunds are as follows:
- More than 10 days before departure: full refund minus USD 10 per person.
- 3-10 days before departure: full refund minus USD 15 per person.
- Less than 3 days before departure: Refund at Riverside Shuttle’s discretion
We reserve the right to cancel a service at any time prior to 10 days before departure, with a full refund provided. No further compensation will be paid.
Should civil strife, war, riots, weather, or other uncontrollable events occur, Riverside cannot accept liability for resulting losses. Refunds will be subject to reasonable expenses.
Release and Assumption of Risk
The journey involves certain risks and dangers. Riverside and its agents will be held harmless from any liability arising from the journey.
Insurance
You must have adequate insurance to cover medical expenses, personal accident, loss of baggage, and trip cancellation. Ensure you have necessary documentation for claims.
Disputes
If you have a complaint, notify Riverside’s local representative immediately. If unresolved, file a complaint within 28 days of the journey’s end. Include your booking reference number.
Tickets and Timings
Departure times are subject to change. Allow at least two hours for unexpected events if you have onward connections.
Booking Procedures
- Read the “Booking Conditions” and “Booking Form” carefully.
- Complete your booking online with a credit card or PayPal.
- Upon payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your bus voucher, invoice, and receipt.
Meeting Instructions
Airport: In the arrivals hall, wait in the Paul Cafe/Restaurant. Be at the bus 30 minutes before departure. Provide your flight details.
Nairobi: The bus departs near Parkside Hotel on Monrovia Street. Report 45 minutes before departure.
Arusha: The bus departs from outside the Bella Luna hotel. Report 45 minutes before departure.
Moshi: The bus departs from the YWCA building. Report 45 minutes before departure.
Hotel Transfers
Pickups and drop-offs at most central hotels in Nairobi, Arusha, or Moshi. Be ready 1 hour before departure in Nairobi or Arusha, and 45 minutes before in Moshi.
Border Crossing Issues
Ensure you have the correct documentation. Valid yellow fever and COVID-19 certificates expedite processing. Obtain visas in advance if possible.
Privacy Policy
Your information is used solely for processing payments and sending relevant information or tickets. Your data is never shared with third parties.
